The KROMA is a compact (pocket sized), high-intensity, selectable-output/multi-spectrum LED flashlight for tactical, self-defense, recreational, and general use. The Kroma's virtually indestructible primary light emitting diode (LED) provides two output levels of white light: a long-running low beam and a brilliant, tactical-level high beam with nearly three times the light of a larger two-D-cell flashlight—enough light to temporarily blind an assailant. Its TIR (total internal reflection) lens ensures that the primary beam is perfectly focused—no dark holes, hot spots, or shadows. Red and blue secondary LEDs also feature two output levels suitable for operations requiring minimal light; for preserving night vision while navigating, tracking, map reading, or other close work; or for negotiating outdoor terrain without disturbing wildlife (many animals can't see red light). A rotating selector ring allows for no-look control—just twist to change beam color or output level.

SureFire Titan T1A aerial end mini abridged flashlight

Quick look of the new SureFire Titan T1A one of the most unique and coolest rugged waterproof quality LED flashlights I've seen. (And I've seen and have a few myself.) It is smaller than a AA minm@glight but way more powerful. The thing that makes this little high end flashlight unique is the smooth variable power level selector ring. You can dial in from little less than one lumen all the way up to 70 room filling lumens with a twist of the ring. SPECIFICATIONS Max Output: High: 70 lumens Low: 1 lumen Runtime: High setting: 1 hours Low setting: 60 hours Length: 3.25 inches Weight: 2.0 ounces with battery Power source: One 123A lithium As you can see from this real world outdoor beamshot demonstration, the floody, smooth artifact-free beam is one of the most useful I've seen. LED flashlights are becoming more commonplace nowadays. Their compact form factor and energy efficient design has been replacing the standard incandescent bulb over the years, although the incans still have their uses as well, especially the more powerful variety which generally perform better outdoors for long distance illumination over the LEDs. The Titan T1A is powered by a single lithium 123a battery which usually has a shelf life of ten years and performs better in sub zero temperatures than standard alkaline batteries. The only drawback is the price of this little light, if lost, will hit your pocketbook harder than your typical drug store light. ;-) Visit their website for current prices. If ...
